British White Cattle
British White Cattle are predominantly white with black points, though the red-pointed calf is born as is the linebacked pattern that dates back to ancient cave paintings, man's earliest visual records. British White cattle are very docile, unlike any other breed of cattle. From their birth, breeders of British White cattle can discern the likely temperament of their calves (no flight zone to a minus no flight zone), and there calm demeanour is always a source of comment to visitors.

I raise registered British White cattle on 100% grass and legumes. My breeding program is focussed on moderate profile, easy keeping grassfed genetics. British White is a very beautiful and very ancient cattle breed with a noble heritage in the British Isle's dating back thousands of years, where we find them revered and magified in old oral Celtic tales, customs, and laws. . .long before the advent of the written word. The special nature and qualites of the British White breed have been preserved for enjoyment today by both the breeder and the consumer of finely marbled and tender British White beef.

Too often some visitors decide that their calm character is due to the "time we must spend with them".
As Breeders of this very special, uniquely beautiful, ancient breed we know different. Their gentleness begins before birth, it's inherent in their genetic makep-up.
Every scientific research report that one comes upon points to the fact that the calmer the feeder calf the better the carcass. One day it will be realized that when a commerical cattleman puts a British White Bull on his herd his calves are calmer, their growth is superior, and their carcass brings to them a premium over Black Angus, a highly volatile breed.
The DNA testing accomplished to date indicates the British White breed tests as well as as the much more aggressive and temperamental black Angus breed in terms of marbling and tenderness.
As DNA testing via GeneStar and/or Igenity progresses and is reported to and compiled by the BWCAA, I fully expect the results to continue to be superior and to further establish British White cattle as THE Beef Breed of the Future for genetic Tenderness combined with genetic Docility -- a combination no other breed can match -- and a combination that the Commercial Feedlot operator will not ignore and will demand from commerical cattleman.
